The specialist Government team here at people2people are working closely with the NSW Government to recruit an experienced Catalogue and Inventory Consultant for an exciting new 6 month contract!


Working as part of the Shared Services team responsible for ensuring that the systems and procedures are in place to maintain the integrity of the items master data files, catalogue currency, inventory levels and maintenance to ensure effective operation
  • Responsible for monitoring inventory levels and ordering patterns to maintain efficient inventory management, providing reports to assist in identifying cost savings
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of procurement systems and processes to ensure their effective operation
  • To manage the training of stakeholders on the effective use of the procurement systems
  • Provide a high level of service to managers and staff across all departments involving mentoring and guidance
  • Produce qualitative and quantitative statistics and information that will contribute to the analysis of service delivery

  • Sound knowledge of the procurement process with knowledge of computer based procurement systems
  • Excellent problem solving and analytic skills
  • Enthusiastic about learning combined with coaching and training others with proven experience
  • Proven ability to work within a team based environment with customer service focus
  • The ideal candidate for this role will be someone with previous experience working within a similar role within a Government department.
