This company owns instantly recognisable household brands and is now looking to recruit an experienced payroll officer. Due to an internal restructure, this is a newly created position that will see you start immediately and work on an implementation project for the next 4-6 months. Following completion of the project, the position will be made permanent.
On a standalone and full function basis, you will sit in the finance team and be in charge of implementing MYOB Exo as well as running 2 weekly and 1 monthly pay runs for Australia and New-Zeland for about 200-300 people. Other duties will see you set up new starters and handle terminations, manage payroll tax, superannuation and workers comp. You also will be the main contact point for all payroll queries and liaise with internal and external stakeholders when required.
In order to be successful, you will demonstrate the following experience and attributes:
- Experience in a standalone payroll position
- Experience running payroll for ANZ
- Ideally, experience implementing a new system
