The Opportunity:

Our client is a luxury retailer based in Melbourne's CBD looking for an experienced Recruitment / HR Coordinator to join their tight knit Human Resources team. In this newly created role, your focus will be a combination of recruitment and generalist HR support.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the Recruitment function with a primary focus on the end to end recruitment for Retail and Head Office operations, as well as supporting across generalist HR activities as and when required.

Duties will include but not limited to:
  • Recruitment selection including writing advertisements, screening and interviewing candidates
  • Proactively identify and drive effective sourcing strategies to attract key talent through headhunting
  • Conduct pre-employment checks and reference checks
  • Management of employee files and administrating the database
  • Coordinating offer process and inductions
  • Manage all HR reporting requirements
  • Work closely with the Director Human Resources and line managers on succession and workforce planning
  • Support and contribute to the HR Team in a generalist capacity as and when required
  • General adhoc administration for the department
About You:
  • At least 2 years' experience within Recruitment / HR Coordinator position
  • Experience in end to end recruitment processes 
  • Experience in fast-paced environment, ideally a retail setting
  • A "can-do' attitude and professional approach to deliver high quality work
  • Relevant HR Qualification
