The Role

Reporting directly to the Managing Director you  will be responsible for  stock levels and inventory management, working closely with local suppliers and managing purchasing requirements. 

Key responsibilities
  • Prepare and process requistions and purchase orders for supplie and equipment
  • Liaise with suppliers for quotations, pricing negotiation and lead times
  • Compare and evaluate prices from suppliers
  • Purchase and supply of requirements for the site to ensure delivery dates for our customers are met
  • Manage stock and inventory
  • Plan and forecast inventory levels to ensure cost effective

The candidate

We are looking for an experienced purchasing officer, you will have experience planning and forecasting, managing stock and ensuring inventory levels are maintained. 
  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • process high volumes of purchase orders
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills both internal and external to the business
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
