Procurement Manager

people2people are collaborating with the NSW Government who are currently seeking a Procurement Manager on an initial 5 month assignment located in Sydney's North Shore.


In this role, you will be managing the procurement projects, including collaborating with local organisations.
  • Strengthening relationships between organisations whilst leading high-level negotiations 
  • Developing and implementing innovative strategies to challenge and motivate stakeholders
  • Develop supply strategies, contracts and arrangements that deliver value for money outcomes
  • Providing authoritative advice to stakeholders to support policy directions, guidelines and business outcomes
  • Lead procurement staff and cross-functional teams to deliver optimal outcomes


To be eligible for this role you must have:
  • Extensive previous NSW Government experience in end to end Procurement roles
  • Outstanding stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Understanding of NSW Government processes surrounding contracting and market testing
  • Clinical Procurement experience highly regarded but not essential
  • Must be able to start immediately
