Procurement Assistant

people2people are collaborating with the NSW Government who are currently seeking a Procurement Assistant on an initial 4 week assignment located in the Sydney CBD


This is a dynamic position, utilising a broad range of administrative skills in a procurement-based administration role, responsibilities will include:
  • Process requisitions and invoices, preparing information for purchase orders
  • Coordinate contracts through the PROcure management system
  • Processing travel arrangement using FCM portal
  • Investigate building management issues and organising tradespeople resolve the issue in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with security policies  


To be eligible for this role you must have:
  • Strong experience in a Procurement/Facilities Administration with NSW Government
  •  Knowledge of the NSW Government procurement processes
  • Willingness to complete further training
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding prioritisation and time management
