Payroll/HRIS Officer - Standalone

The Company

To ensure that they continue to maintain and build on their success, they are currently seeking a Payroll/HRIS all-rounder to manage payroll, support the Compensation & Benefits Manager and partner the HR function. 

The Role
  • Run in-house end-to-end payroll for 300 staff and expatriates (monthly cycles) using Preceda (Ascender) software
  • Reviewing and improving the current payroll system configuration and payroll processes which has been newly implemented and requires further tweaking
  • Supporting HR Business Partners by providing knowledge of Fair Work Acts & Employment legislation as it pertains to pay and benefits
  • Responsible for reporting deadlines (including EOFY), bonus calculations and new starters & terminations
  • Maintaining the HRIS system - Workday and become the functional expert

Your Experience
  • Prior standalone payroll end to end processing is essential 
  • Practical experience of Preceda payroll system is essential 
  • Intermediate with Excel is highly desirable
  • Prior experience with Workday HRIS is desirable however those with an aptitude and interest in this area will be considered
  • Strong knowledge of Fair Work Act & Employment Relations Act
  • Ability to engage with all levels of the business including developing strong relationships with HR Business Partners
