The Opportunity:
  • Lead and develop a large payroll team to deliver a timely completion of all payroll operations across a multisite, multi agreement environment
  • Provide strong leadership, creating a high-performing culture that focuses on providing exceptional customer services on all payroll enquiries
  • Prepare payroll reports and trends to the executive team
  • Develop relationships with all line managers across the business, to drive communication and provide expert advice and guidance on complex payroll matters
  • Manage payroll systems enhancement projects
  • Drive and initiate all continuous process improvements across the payroll function

About you:
To excel in this role you will be an experienced payroll manager who has managed a large team across a multi-site environment and will processes the following:
  • Strong understanding and exposure to multiple enterprise bargaining agreements and awards
  • Highly experienced with large payroll systems, implementations and upgrades
  • Leading and developing a high-performance team and creating a customer focused culture
  • Experience with continuous improvements to enhance the overall payroll function
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with management and line managers
