Due to a sudden resignation, this is a fantastic temp to perm opportunity for an experienced standalone Payroll Manager. In order to have a decent handover period, an immediate start would be ideal but they are willing to wait for the right candidate if necessary. You will join a market leading organisation in the FMCG industry where people are at the core of the business and which prides itself for its distinctive culture and supportive environment. Located in the Blacktown surrounds, this role starts as a 5 months contract with permanency a possibility for the right candidate.
In a standalone position, you will deal with all aspects of payroll from end to end. You will run weekly (casual) and monthly (corporate) payrolls for around 400 employees in Australia, interpreting various EBAs (6 in place) and deal with internal and external stakeholders.
In order to be successful in this position, you will need the following competencies:
- Experience as a standalone payroll position, running payroll, super, payroll tax, workers comp, month end...
- Experience using Chris 21 is critical.
- Excellent communication skills
- Being able to work autonomously as the manager is hands off
