We are currently recruiting for a large Australian law firm who are seeking a Paralegal to join their Recovery and Insolvency team.

This well-known firm has offices across the country and their expertise includes Commercial Litigation, Property, Competition, Tax and Wills & Estates. THE ROLE

Working as a Paralegal, your day-to-day duties will include drafting documents under the supervision of industry experts and communicating with clients on a daily basis. Other key responsibilities include:

·       Being a first point of contact for client matters on over 100 files at any given point in time;
·       Liaising with courts and preparing documentation, including writs, warrants and notices;
·       Demonstrating file management skills with the creation, closure and billing of files;
·       Communicating in a way which represents our high standards and those of our clients; and
·       Other administrative duties and support as required.


THE CANDIDATE

Ideally, you will have experience in debt recovery and will be able to demonstrate a track record of managing a high volume of files with efficiency and excellent customer service. In addition to this, you will also:

·       Be confident using IT systems and MS Office;
·       Have strong attention to detail;
·       Be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced role;
·       Have strong written and verbal skills; and
·       Be able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
