This organisation manufactures and distributes PC Based automation systems for the industrial sector. With a global presence, they operate in every continent they have developed a reputation for delivering quality products and excellent customer service. 

This role will be responsible for managing accounts within their Industrial Automation portfolio across Australia and New Zealand. This will be a 70/30 split between managing existing accounts and developing new business. 

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 
  • Manage a portfolio of existing accounts (This is a well-developed portfolio) 
  • Manage resellers and distributors 
  • Attend regular meetings with your clients ensuring retention of those clients
  • Prepare quotes as well as consult to your client base on the different solutions available
  • Monthly reporting 
  • Develop new business (40% in your 2nd year)
To be considered for this role you will have:
  • A degree in Electronics, Computer Science or Networking 
  • Previous experience in a Key Account Manager position
  • Experience with Siebel (not mandatory but would be advantageous) 
  • Previous experience selling an engineering or IT solution
  • Must be able to travel
