An opportunity has become available in the Management Support team for a L1/L2 IT Technical Support Officer.

About the role:
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems and business applications
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
  • Talk to staff through a series of actions to help set up systems or resolve issues
  • Set up and manage new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
  • Basic phone setup - extension number and phone installation
  • Support IT asset management and ad hoc duties as required
About you:
To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Experience with PC hardware and software support
  • Network (LAN, WAN, IP) knowledge
  • Knowledge of VOIP
  • Network and PC Security knowledge
  • An apt understanding of how software and operating systems work
  • The ability to prioritise workload, multitask, problem-solve and work well within a team
  • Excellent communications skills
