about the role
Supporting a two Partners, and providing float support across varies practice groups this role will see the successful candidate responsible for:
  • Managing diaries and scheduling appointments
  • Liaising with high profile clients
  • Processing billing
  • Amending documents, briefs & court documents (tracking, cross referencing & working with styles)
  • Communicating professionally and effectively with clients and colleague across multiple levels
  • Managing incoming and outgoing phone calls
  • Assisting with telephone enquiries
  • Opening and closing files
  • Maintaining an effective filing system
  • Preparing documents and letters
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality
 

about you
To be considered for this opportunity, you must be able to demonstrate:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Legal Secretary across multiple practice groups
  • Advanced MS Office skills (tracking, cross referencing & working with styles)
  • A fast and accurate typing speed (65wpm +)
  • Billing experience
  • Confidence liaising with internal and external clients
  • Professional personal presentation
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • High levels of organisation and the ability to prioritise
  • A positive and friendly attitude with a willingness to learn 
  • Initiative to work autonomously when required
