About the Role


We are looking for an experienced HR generalist to step up in to a HR manager role to partner with our managers to provide a full range of HR activities.The role includes end to end recruitment activities, talent management and reviews, manpower planning, performance management, employee relations / IR, employee engagement initiatives, project work and more. A key focus is to actively coach and support our managers to build their people management capability to develop high performance teams.


About You


You must have experience in an HR advisory role / some experience in a HR manager role, and a depth of experience across HR generalist activities:
 
  • A very good understanding of AU employment legislation, including in depth knowledge and experience with awards
  • A strong recruitment background, including contracts preparation
  • Experience with remuneration and benefits
  • Flexible approach and hands on with the ability to deliver in a fast pace and changing environment
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work closely and build strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • A positive, can-do attitude
  • Some experience with an HRIS, WHS and Workcover would be advantageous
  • Some experience in supervisory role / staff management is desirable
  • Tertiary qualification in HR / related discipline
