people2people are collaborating with the NSW Government who are currently seeking a HR Manager on a 3 month assignment located in Parramatta.


You will be responsible for managing and delivering strategic and operational HR advice to the department, including:
  • Promoting innovative and empowering approaches to people management
  • Provide expert advice to drive best practice HR outcomes
  • Develop robust succession planning to fill gaps in skills and critical roles
  • Work collaboratively with other SME to develop, implement and evaluate HR programs
  • Consult across the organisation to identify emerging trends, providing advice on appropriate measures 
  • Undertake recruitment for the department


To be eligible for this role you must have:
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR (or related discipline) or equivalent experience in HR
  • Extensive experience in providing strategic human resource management advice at a senior level, policy and managing organisational change 
  • Strong communication, negotiation and collaboration skills
  • High level analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong management skills and ability to drive impact and behavioural change
