The Opportunity:

Join this not-for profit organisation in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs specialising in research. Stand-alone HR opportunity reporting to the COO providing a wide-range of human resource functions to the organisation with 200+ employees.

The Role:
  • Employee life cycle; on boarding, drafting contracts and facilitating recruitment
  • Salary reviews, providing advice and processing visa applications
  • Maintaining HR systems and streamlining processes
  • Developing training materials and programs
  • Populating reports and sharing analysis
  • First point of contact for HR issues/queries
  • Oversee and manage the HR budget
  • Proven Human Resource Management experience in a stand-alone role with a generalist focus
  • Relevant qualifications in Human Resources
  • Proven experience in automating process and implementing efficiency
  • Proficient MS Office skills, exposure to Moodle or iCHRIS would be a bonus
  • Experience within an academic/research environment would be looked upon favourably
  • Solid understanding of employment legislation
