HR Consultant (Generalist)

people2people are working closely with the NSW Government who are seeking a HR Consultant on an initial 4 month assignment, located in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney.


In this role you will review and develop HR policies, procedures, training and quality improvement systems. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Collaborate and liaise with stakeholders, providing advice and support to managers on a range of HR related issues
  • Lead and manage projects relating to Human resources
  • Provide advice on grievance management, bullying and harassment, change management, recruitment, positive workplace programs, performance reviews and staff development
  • Lead and support complex employee relations investigations
  • Provide advice on grading, benchmarking and job evaluation
  • Support the development and implementation of workplace change
To be eligible for this role you must have:
  • Strong background providing HR Generalist support including employee relations, recruitment, L&D as well as WHS and more
  • Understanding of NSW Government framework, policies and procedures highly regarded
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively liaise and negotiate with stakeholders
  • High level problem solving ability and organisational skills
