Take the next step in early childhood education, by becoming a role model for others.

•  Clear career pathways

•  Professional development and growth

•  Benefits that will surprise you

You are an awesome teacher. Your peers already look to you for support and guidance. So why not take that natural leadership ability and channel it into a role where you can be rewarded for it? Or perhaps you’re already there, but have nowhere to go next?

If your career development matters to you, it matters to us to. We know that delivering great outcomes for children and families starts with finding passionate, talented people and nurturing them to achieve their potential — just like we do with our early learners!

We have 117 early learning centres around the country and a dedicated team of over 2,000 people, which means our career pathways are real. How far you go, is up to you. But rest assured, we’ll be there to help you develop both personally and professionally.

You’ll be responsible for inspiring, mentoring and managing the educators within your team. Role modelling is what it’s all about — whether that’s in your best practice, team or how you interact with children in the centre. Your personal warmth and engaging approach will create strong relationships with team members and centre families/whānau alike.

A qualified and fully registered ECE teacher, you’ll potentially have leadership experience or be able to demonstrate clear potential in this area. What will be clear to us, is your passion for teaching and genuine interest in mentoring and developing others.

Your talent and dedication will be recognised with an attractive hourly rate and wide range of benefits, these reflect how important you are to us, from birthday leave through to discounted medical insurance, childcare fees at our centres and retail discount offers for our people.

We believe that by investing in you, we can make an extraordinary difference in the lives of New  Zealand’s youngest learners and their families. Keen to know more? Then contact Annie O’Keefe today.
