An opportunity has arisen within a well-known Australian law firm supporting a Senior Associate and Head of Family. This is a busy and varied position where you can expect to utilise your skills, experience and knowledge of family law and work as part of a national team.
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Drafting, formatting and amending court documents and other correspondence as directed by fee earners
- Preparing briefs
- Liaising with clients
- Arranging meetings and conferences
- Diary management and travel arrangements
- Preparation of monthly accounts
- Ad hoc administrative tasks
- From time to time, you will also be expected to assist with overflow.
To be successful...
You will be an experienced legal secretary, legal assistant or legal PA who has specialised experience in Family Law for at least two years. You will be highly organised with excellent communication skills as this role will involve client liaison. This role will suit you if you are a true legal support professional who aspires to work within a national firm that has a solid structure, processes and systems in place. In addition, you will consider yourself to be a team player who is able to take ownership of duties and responsibilities.
