This leading manufacturing company with an international presence are a true leader in their field. Due to year on year growth they are currently seeking an experienced Customer Service Officer to join their high performing team permanently, in a newly created role.


About the role

Reporting to the Technical Manager, this role will see the successful candidate acting as the first port of call for customers responsible for:

  • Managing incoming calls and queries
  • Processing customer orders in SAP and Salesforce
  • Updating customer information
  • Supporting sales staff with administrative requirements 
  • Forecasting, assisting with production schedules and managing lead times
  • Liaise with warehouse and logistics teams
  • Update customers with lead and delivery times
  • Resolve customer issues
  • Provide excellent customer service 
  • Other administrative duties as required


About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Excellent communication skills and a customer centric approach
  • Proven experience in a customer service environment
  • Excellent phone manner, and personable nature
  • Exposure to a fast-paced, high volume ordering environment
  • High attention to detail,
  • Organised with the ability to juggle multiple tasks
  • Self-driven with the ability to work autonomously
  • High computer literacy with previous SAP or Salesforce experience
  • Previous manufacturing or FMCG role will be highly regarded!
