people2people are collaborating with a leading NSW Government Department who are currently seeking a Business Support Officer for a 2 month assignment located in Parramatta beginning in early January 2019.


The primary purpose of this role is to provide quality service, information and assistance to staff members on a wide range of matters. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Provide administrative services, respond to enquiries and complete a range of processing activities with accuracy and efficiency
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with other NSW Government Departments and various Contractors/ Consultants 
  • Assist the Senior Business Officers with purchasing items
  • Assist with the organisation maintenance 
  • Ensure all enquiries, complaints and issues are accurately captured and authorised policies and procedures are adopted for triage, resolutions, referral or escalation
  • Undertake reception duties as required


To be eligible for this role you must have:
  • Previous experience in a similar office support role
  • Proven work experience at meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly organised and can-do attitude
  • Easily adaptable attitude to changing environments attitude
