The Company:

Our client is an ASX listed brand who has been specialising in mining and construction for over 90 years. Establishing the business overseas and expanding out to Australia, our client has mastered the manufacturing, service and execution of sustaining themselves in their market. They are looking for an experienced Branch Manager to join their growing team in Gunnedah on a fixed term contract for a period of 12 months.

The role:

The focus of this business-critical role is to ensure the branch is running profitably and efficiently whilst also ensuring excellent service and support to the customers of the Branch. The key responsibilities of the role will include but won't be limited to the following -
  • Complete management of the Branch to ensure continued growth and profitability
  • Working closely with the customers to provide effective solutions and build a long-term partnership
  • Ensuring that all sales opportunities and maximised and work closely with the Branch to identify potential sales opportunities
  • Managing the annual income and expenditure reports

About you:
  • Able to commence on or before November 1
  • Sound experience with the preparation and analysis of various expenditure budgets
  • Proven experience in effectively managing staff
  • Experience in mining/construction or heavy equipment is essential
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with the sound ability to present to various stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Current drivers' licence
