Administration Assistant

people2people are working closely with the NSW Government who are seeking an Administration Assistant on an initial 6 month assignment, located in Broken Hill.


In this role you will provide high level front desk customer service and administrative support.
  • Provide administrative support, including ordering/purchasing, filing, mail and correspondence, maintaining registers and ordering stationery
  • Support the organisation of events and meetings, including coordinating meetings, agendas, transport, catering, accommodation and taking minutes
  • Respond to enquiries, providing visitors with information and handling routine customer requests
  • Complete routine financial transactions and purchasing services, as well as updating records and databases
  • Maintain office supplies and stationery, procuring equipment as required

To be eligible for this role you must have:
  • Previous experience in an Administration or Customer Service based role 
  • Proficient in computer systems (Microsoft Office) and Records Management Systems
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities whilst maintaining a high attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
