An opportunity is now available within this large construction organisation for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer or Accounts Clerk. Starting on an ongoing basis, they are looking for dedicated and committed people interested in joining a team long term, they provide training and mentoring and there is potential for permanency for the right candidate.
You will be responsible for collecting and processing dockets for one of their main sites onto an Excel spreadsheet, ensuring that each docket is correctly allocated to the appropriate cost centre. You will be responsible for reconciling the document before passing it on to the head office where the payments will be processed. You will be a key part of the team, liaising with various stakeholders within the organisation, internally and externally.
In order to be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate the following attributes:
- Strong Excel knowledge, pivots tables and v-lookups being essential. Test will be performed.
- Experience in accounts
- Knowledge of SAP system will be ideal but not essential
- Being able to drive to work. NO public transport access
- Good communication skills
