This leading financial investment provider has forged a strong footprint within their field. As they are preparing for audit they have an immediate need for a qualified accountant to join their team. This assignment is initially for 8-10 weeks. Due to Covid-19 restrictions you will work from home initially and therefore will require a suitable working from home set up including reliable internet. 

Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for:
  • Invoicing
  • Accounts payable
  • Process staff reimbursements
  • Credit card reconciliations
  • Accounts receivable
  • Process month end general ledger reconciliations, accruals and pre-payments
  • Complete company bank reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly BAS
  • End to end payroll for 45 employees including processing payroll tax, PAYG and super

You will have:
  • Recent Xero experience is essential
  • Experience working for a Big 4 is advantageous
  • Intermediate excel skills
  • Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise, manage time and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work from home including a reliable internet connection
